First, I would like to say sorry for not posting in like 2 weeks... things have been crazy. The play opened and closed last week and things are finally getting back to normal, meaning I can blog more starting now. :)
Here are some pictures of the play (the ones I'm in were taken by Sabrina Ruiz (who played Helen).

The wedding was perfect, beautiful. It was nice to see my parents finally get married after 10 years of being together, I love them so much. It was also nice to do photography for the wedding. it was my first wedding and I'm eager to share my photos.

Costumes
Starting on Monday I have been starting to out together costumes for Trojan Women. I was volunteered by the play's director, Glen Jacobs -who also happens to be my Stagecraft teacher. He's had me working on it during class and now it's spilled over into rehearsal and such. The thing with costumes for this play is: we can't actually use dresses... we use these strange toga like things which we make by wrapping a bed sheet around you and sewing it together around the shoulders. ((I can't find a picture of anything like it online, so I will post pictures as soon as costumes have been finished))

Wedding
So some of you may remember that my parents wedding is on Saturday. Yeah, exciting... and stressful. Seriously, I'm not sure if I want to plan a wedding for myself in the future... maybe I'll have my sister do it for me, when the time comes.
Anyway, my mom has taken Wednesday through Sunday off for the wedding and for the fact that my family from Wisconsin are coming into town on Thursday. Friday will be a family dinner -sorta like a rehearsal dinner, where we'll go out somewhere nice and dress up and I'll be sure to take lots of pictures to post when the crazyness is over.
Saturday is the actual wedding... we walk down the isle at p.m. sharp. Then the reception is at my house and my dad is BBQing so it should be yummy. This also means, however, that we will be cooking and prepping all morning and probably the night before as well.
Sunday we are all driving to McMiniville Oregon to go to the Air Museum and to the water park. Another busy day with all the family and another great photo opp which I will obviously take advantage of.
Monday will go back to a normal day, school and work for everyone. However, our family will still be in town and dad will probably take his dad and brother to his shop to show off his business.
The family leaves on Thursday after next, one week after they arrived and then maybe life will go back to normal...
