Harry Potter obsession is back

So everyone who has been reading from the beginning knows how much I love Harry Potter. The books, the movies, the idea of Hogwarts and the Wizarding World, everything is amazing. J.K Rowling is my god...

Anyway, the last few months have been busy and I feel out of my obsession for a while. However, recently I decided to re-read the first book becasue it had been over a year and as soon as my eyes hit that first sentence, once again, I was hooked. There is no better feeling than taking the Hogwarts Express to your first year at Hogwarts.

I can't even begin to describe how much I wanted to go to Hogwarts, and still would even to this day. It's a place full of magic and wonder where anything can happen and where true friendships are made. It's my favrotie way to escape the world and go somewhere where I love.

My first Blogging Awards

I've seen these on other blogs and was always wondering how they work, now I know thanks to Becky from

Preppy Premed who nominated me for not one, but TWO amazing blogger awards!! To me, this is amazing because I can remember when my blog was small and me and one friend were the only followers, now, I have 20 and I thank you all so much for your love!

My facts: (sorry if I have said them already somewhere on the blog)

1) I am from Alaska and to this day it remains my favorite place in the entire world. (Noting that I've only been to like 6 states...)

2) I have been writing sense I was in grade 4 and finished my first full book in grade 6; however, the book kinda sucked and I can barely believe I wrote that...

3) I'm not going to lie, The Jonas Brothers are my guilty pleasure. Listening to their music always makes me happy and I love their songs.

4) My favorite TV show is Sex and the City even though I'm only 16.

5) My current favorite food is Hot Cheetos (I used to hate them but now they're amazing!!)

6) My favorite book series is Harry Potter with out a question. I'm a HUGE Potterhead. I own soooo much HP stuff and I'm proud of it.

7) I've recently developed the 'I don't care if you think something I do is wrong becasue I see nothing wrong with it and I know what's right for me' attitude and I'm sorta loving not caring what other people think of me.

My facts:

1) I like cold weather better than hot weather even though I love to swim and lay in the sun with my friends. It's just so much easier to warm up in the cold than it is to cool down in the hot.

2) One of my best friends and I have a plan to watch movies this summer and we've made a list of 37 movies and counting...

3) I sorta want to take up golf...

4) My favorite color is green because it's pretty and simple. 

5) I love taking pictures of clouds. I love in focus they are and how the colors play on each other.

Trojan Women

So today the cast list was posted for the next play: The Trojan Women. I had auditioned with my friends as all my friends are theater people and I couldn't wait to know who i was casted as. Turns out i did pretty well in auditions because I was given the part of Cassandra, who is one of the leads in the play. This characters has a lot of monologues and is pretty depressed and upset during the play, but it seems like a fun part to play because in Our Town I had played the Stage Manager who didn't get to have any emotions and wasn't hard to play. This role seems fun because I'll actually get to make a character and act as someone who isn't remotely close to how i really am :) More to come.

Seeing as Love has taken a lot of my time, smiles and tears this week and weekend, I'm going to do my link up today about love.

Tuesday 10: 10 things in my bag

Linking up with Lena @ Mom 2 Memphis and Ruby for her 10 things weekly link up :) This seems super fun.

Though I don't normaly carry a purse, I do have things on me at all times that I can share (I would have a picture if I knew about this before hand, but I just saw this like 5 minutes ago and though it would be fun to do, so forgive me this time)

Without further ado, 10 Things you will find in my bag:

1) My cell phone-- I don't leave my bedroom without it, let alone my house.

2) My Nikon Coolpix P500-- not the best camera, but it cost enough and takes good photos. it's like my baby. I just finished paying it off.

3) Chapstick or Lip gloss-- I'm a girl, I like color on my lips

4) Money-- though I never seem to have enough for whatever it is I want to buy.

5) Keys-- However, I sometimes forget them on my dresser...

6) A book-- I hate getting somewhere early and having nothing to do, so I carry a book with me, currently it's Girls in Pants- the third summer of the sisterhood.

7) Migraine Medicine-- Mostly Excedrin: for my chronic Migraines 

8) Water-- especially if I go out with Charlee or one of the other children I nanny.

9) Crochet-- My sister Angie and I are starting to sell our stuff, so we're always working.

10) My dad's business cards-- Because you never know when someone will need their Lawn Mower tuned.

I believe it's important to love yourself. No matter who else does.You're the voice you should be listening to, don't let anyone else try to tell you otherwise. I believe everyone is put on this earth for a reason, and they all have a personal legend to live up to, (if you've read The Alchemist by Paulo Coelho than you'll understand this). I believe in second chances, but I believe you can only give them so many times. I believe in love at first sight, but I also know that is not always the case, some times Love just comes softly. (Love Comes Softly by Jenette Oke). I believe in giving everyone a fair chance and not judging people by the way they look or who they hang out with, but by who they really are, the side of them they don't often let show. I believe in the beauty of nature, how taking a walk through a garden or laying in the woods can make you feel at peace. I believe Home is Where the Heart is.

Tribe of the world

Lately in my English class we have been reading The Absolutely True Diary of a Part Time Indian, and at one part, the main character lists all the "Tribes" he's a part of. My teacher made us list ours and I found it really inspiring. This is what I wrote:
